Marcus Smart Released Rap Song About His $52 Million Contract

One of the most important features or skills in the NBA isn’t measurable nor a stat – hustle! The importance of hustle is truly underrated, but the reason we love and value players who give their all night in and night out for our team(s).

One of these players is Marcus Smart, whose real value can be seen if we take a look at the intangibles and the advanced stats.

That’s one of the reasons Marcus Smart got paid big time, this past summer. It took a while but Smart and Danny Ainge eventually agreed on a four-year, $52 million deal. In Smart’s case it really is important to look at these advanced stats, otherwise one would say that he robbed the Celtics. This season, he’s averaging 4.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 steals on 30% from the field.

But aside all that, what’s the first thing you’re going to do with $52 million secured? Well, how bout record a song and brag about the money? That’s exactly what Smart did. He teamed up with Trey Davis and iAmCompton to let the whole world know that he got paid and is rich!
