Utah Jazz Fans Loudly Boo Hayward And Rip Their Own Team For Making A Tribute Video
Before signing with the Boston Celtics during last year’s NBA offseason, Gordon Hayward spent the first seven years of his NBA career in Utah.
He became their go-to-guy, best player and an NBA All-Star. Back then, the Jazz fans’ relationship with Hayward was a love story. That has drastically changed though.
Last night, for the first time ever, Hayward played in Salt Lake City wearing the other team’s colors. He got booed big time! He got booed when he touched the ball, and he got booed when he was announced during player introductions.

The Jazz organisation though had made a tribute video for Hayward, which was shown on the jumbotron and also shared to their social media channels. The responses were not exactly what they might have hoped for. Fans were ripping their own team for it.
Welcome back, Gordon. https://t.co/02WhVVeZaw
