Caris LeVert’s Heartfelt ‘Thank You’ Note To Everyone Who Sent Prayers And Messages
On Monday night, Brooklyn Nets shooting star Caris LeVert suffered a leg injury, against the Minnesota Timberwolves. His ankle completely turned the opposite direction, reminiscent of Paul George and Gordon Hayward’s gruesome injuries. Everyone on the court and in the arena was shocked. This silence was breathtakingly scary.
But, LeVert was incredibly lucky, given the circumstances. He was checked out by doctors and has been diagnosed with a dislocated right foot. He didn’t break or tear anything and doesn’t require surgery. He’s even expected back on the court this season, without any health concerns. What a relief it must have been for Caris, who took his appreciation and gratefulness, for all the messages he received, to Twitter and thanked everyone.
“I just want to thank God above all things b/c despite how bad the injury looked, it could’ve been a lot worse. Thanks to all for the prayers, messages, love, support for both my family & me. We appreciate you all! Can’t wait to get back out there with my brothers!!!”
