Paul Pierce Wouldn’t Be Able To Pronounce Nikola Jokic’s Name If His Life Depended On It

Paul Pierce undoubtedly is one of the best Celtics players of all-time.

Pierce seemed to play in slow motion, but scoring the ball was so effortless for him. His ability to remember names and pronounce them correctly, doesn’t seem to be as effortless though. We’ve been able to witness this numerous times ever since Pierce became a TV-analyst. The funny thing; it’s not only lesser known bench players whose names are mispronounced, but also potential All-Stars.

Check out Pierce’s latest butchered name. His attempt to say the name of Nikola Jokic is pretty funny. Jokic is averaging 17.2 points (50%FG/82%FT), 10.1 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. Definitely enough to remember his name, especially if you’re working in broadcasting.
