When LeBron Switches Teams, The New Teams’ Start (Almost) Is The Same Every Time
After a streaky start to the season, the Los Angeles Lakers have won three straight games. They are now 11-7 before today’s early game against the Orlando Magic.
The team looks improved and the teammates are finally clicking. Inserting a new star and a new system (LeBron’s system) always takes time. The funny thing is, it almost seems to take exactly the same time, every time.
When James left Cleveland for the first time, the Miami Heat were 10-8 after their first 18 games of the season. When he left Miami to go back home to Cleveland, the Cavs were 11-7 through the first 18 games.
The Lakers have won three straight since starting 8-7, including their first victory over the Jazz since Kobe's last game. They are now 11-7. The Heat were 10-8 after 18 games in LeBron's first season in Miami and the Cavs were 11-7 in LeBron's first season back in Cleveland. https://t.co/5gghOYMxWu
