Much Like Kyrie Irving, Stephen Curry Also Believes In Conspiracy Theories
What’s going on with NBA players discrediting scientific facts or believing in conspiracy theories?
A couple of weeks ago, Kyrie Irving apologized for talking about flat-earth theories. Kyrie admitted that he was really into conspiracy theories at the time. While he apologized to everyone affected by his flat earth phase, he didn’t say that he believes otherwise.
We also know that Shaquille O’Neal also has trouble understanding how science works, Paul Pierce took things to a whole new when admitting to be a firm believer of the flat earth theory. He backed it up by saying:
“I should be able to fly to Russia in one hour if the Earth was moving at 1000 mph.”
Now we were able to find out about the latest NBA player believing in conspiracy theories. It’s non other than Stephen Curry. While being a guest at the ‘Winging It’ podcast, Curry revealed that he’s among the people who don’t believe astronauts landed on the moon. Kent Bazemore, Andre Iguodala and Vince Carter even agreed.
Curry asked, ‘we ever been to the moon?’ everybody respnded with a collective nope, to which Curry replied: ‘they gona come and get us because I don’t think so either’.
The conversation about the moon landing conspiracy starts at about the 45-minute mark of the ‘Winging It’ podcast with Kent Bazemore, Andre Iguodala and Vince Carter.
