Luke Walton Hilariously Places Himself Among 2003 NBA Draft Superstars
Last night, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade played their final game against each other. The two best friends not only won two championships together, but they’re also part of the same draft class. The 2003 NBA Draft is know for being one of the most talented draft pools in draft history, with players like LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, David West, Kyle Korver, Chris Kaman, and Mo Williams.
Interestingly enough, LeBron James’ current head coach, Luke Walton, also is part of the 2003 draft class. Yesterday, Walton comically inserted himself into the conversation with the greats of his draft class.
“I feel a lot of pride. I feel like I brought a lot to the table as far as being one of the top draft classes of all time. I mean, guys like LeBron and D-Wade and Bosh and Walton … We really did our thing.”
