Russell Westbrook’s Hilarious Response To Finding Out That He Passed Kobe On The All-Time Assists List

Last night, Russell Westbrook passed Kobe Bryant for 30th on the NBA’s all-time assists list!

Westbrook himself found out during post-game interviews, when a reporter asked him about this achievement. Westbrook was surprised but then poked some fun at Kobe Bryant and the fact that Kobe hasn’t really been famous for his passing during his active career.

Westbrook: “What list is it?”

Reporter: “For the assists, all-time.”

Westbrook: “Which one is it? The assist one?! Damn! You said assists, right?”

Reporter: “Yeah!”

Westbrook (laughing): “Damn! I just wanted to make sure…”
