Richard Jefferson Recalls Unreal Kobe Bryant Story About Not Passing The Ball

A couple of months ago when Russell Westbrook passed Kobe Bryant for 30th on the NBA’s all-time assists list, Westbrook poked some fun at Kobe Bryant and the fact that Kobe hasn’t really been famous for his passing during his active career.

Then, when joining the TV booth during a Lakers-Nets game this season, Richard Jefferson, recalled one amazing old story about Kobe Bryant not passing the ball.

“I’ll tell you a Kobe story. They (After he was fouled, the refs) were trying to figure out whether he was shooting or not. Kobe straight told them ‘I haven’t passed the ball all night…’ They kinda looked around and were like ‘Yeah. Let’s give him 2 free throws.’ It was great logic.”
