One of the most important features or skills in the NBA isn’t measurable nor a stat – hustle! The importance of hustle is truly underrated, but the reason we love and value players who give their all night in and night out for our team(s).

One of these players is Marcus Smart, whose real value can be seen if we take a look at the intangibles and the advanced stats.

That’s one of the reasons Marcus Smart got paid big time, this past summer. It took a while but Smart and Danny Ainge eventually agreed on a four-year, $52 million deal. In Smart’s case it really is important to look at these advanced stats, otherwise one would say that he robbed the Celtics.

But aside from his stellar defense and hustle plays, Smart also has some fire handles and moves, as we were able to witness last night.

The Celtics guard ball-faked so well, that he didn’t only get his defender, but also the cameraman.
