Russell Westbrook Wore Oven Mitts To The Game? Time To Get Rid Of The Dress Code, NBA!
Back in the day, Allen Iverson was known for arriving to post-game interviews or games he sat out wearing his street clothes. In 2005, the NBA implemented a dress code because of players like Iverson. His baggy, hip-hop-styled clothed were considered unprofessional for the league.
The way some of today’s players dress though, kind of makes that dress code void.
Russell Westbrook, for example, is one of those players. For last night’s game against the Lakers in Los Angeles, he showed up wearing…oven mitts?! I think it’s about time to get rid of the dress code again.
While the analogy may be an obvious one to make, Westbrook wasn’t exactly cooking, as he finished making only 3 of his 20 attempts from the field.
Russell Westbrook arrives for tonight’s @okcthunder action in LA!
