Steven Adams Hopes To NOT Be Named An All-Star
Oklahoma City big man Steven Adams easily is one of the toughest opponents in the league for anyone to play against. Last season, he led the league in boxouts and screen assists.
That’s why he was voted the toughest player in the NBA by general managers across the league. This season, Steven Adams has improved again and is in the midst of a career year. The Kiwi is averaging 15.5 points, 10.1 rebounds and 1.5 steals and has kept his defensive presence and intesity.
Adams has a chance to become an All-Star for the first time in his career, but Adams also isn’t like any other NBA player. When asked if he wanted to play in the All-Star game, he responded:
“I do like a break, I do like my All-Star break, mate, its a tough season. I think a lot of people would like to see me there & I think it’ll be really big for the country in New Zealand.. But if I’m being selfish mate, I’d probably like a wee break..”
