Gregg Popovich Destroys Own Team And Himself After Win Against Phoenix

This is the first real Popovich moment in quite some time.

Every other coach would be happy when his team got off cheaply, due to a buzzer-beating game-winner, but not Pop. He was so angry at himself and his team for not giving enough effort in their game against the Phoenix Suns, that he ripped his own team post-game. As always though, he has a valid argument as we witnessed his great sportsmanship once again.

“We were really fortunate to win the game. I thought they outplayed us, outcoached us, outphysicaled, outexecuted us. We had no respect for them or for the game. We didn’t play with each other. It was a pathetic performance. And Pheonix got robbed.”
