Rockets Got Blasted For Bragging About James Harden’s Defense On Old Man Dirk
James Harden is the league’s reigning MVP and appears to be the front runner to win the award for a second time this season. He’s been on an absolute scoring tear and had his 30th consecutive 30+ point game against the Dallas Mavericks the other night.
Harden can do it all on the offensive end, but often plays lackluster defense, or none at all.
In that game against the Mavericks though, Harden played some defense and stole the ball from 40-year old Dirk Nowitzki. Unfortunately for the Rockets, they posted the video on Twitter with following caption:

This thankfully led to NBA Twitter blasting the Rockets for showing off an MVP-candidate’s defense on an almost 41-year old veteran who’s definitely lacking quickness (no offense, Dirk).
