Jeremy Lin Forgets New Jersey Number, Accidentally Wears Kyle Lowry’s Gear
When you think about Jeremy Lin, you instantly think number 7! That’s the jersey number he’s worn throughout most of his NBA career. He wore the number 7 jersey for the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Charlotte Hornets, Brooklyn Nets, and Atlanta Hawks. So you can assume that Lin himself got used to the number, maybe even a little attached.
But when Lin signed with the Toronto Raptors a couple of weeks ago, the number 7 jersey obviously wasn’t available. In Toronto, that number belongs to Raptors All-Star Kyle Lowry. This fact though was the reason for Jeremy Lin’s first hiccup when adjusting to the new team.
During yesterday’s practice, Lin accidentally found himself wearing the wrong gear. He was wondering why the close didn’t fit him before realizing he isn’t wearing #7 anymore.
Newcomer Jeremy Lin said he accidentally put on Lowry's gear before practice today because he's used to wearing No. 7, was wondering why nothing fit right. "I was like, this is weird. Then I realized, oh, I'm not 7 anymore."

Lin: "I'm still trying to learn everybody's name… I told Marc, I was like, 'look, you're going to have to teach me everything'. He's like, 'man, I got here 2 days (earlier)'… We're all just trying to figure it out but being on a veteran team (helps)."
