Charles Barkley: “Kyrie Irving Is One Of The Most Miserable People I’ve Ever Seen”
The Boston Celtics are struggling this season and Kyrie Irving has been visibly frustrated all season long. Recently, he’s been feuding with basically the entire media, as he wants to be left alone.
“I didn’t really come into this game to be cameras in my face, be famous, be a celebrity, whatever embodies that. It’s a little hard for me. I wanted those things when I was younger, but now … I just want to play basketball at a very high level.”
Charles Barkley now had some words for Kyrie during an appearance on ESPN’s ‘Get Up’:
“These guys are making $20, $30, $40 million a year, they work six, seven months a year. We stay at the best hotels in the world. They ain’t got no problems. That’s total bogus… Kyrie Irving, I don’t know him that well, he seems like a good kid, but I’ve never seen a person so miserable. To have so much success, to have the world in the palm of his hand, he’s gonna make $40-50 million a year for the next 10, 15 years, he’s already won a world championship, he’s in movies… but he’s got to be one of the most miserable people I’ve ever seen.”
