LeBron James Praises Michael Jordan Saying He Was An Inspiration To Him
Last night, LeBron James passed Michael Jordan for 4th on the NBA’s All-Time scoring list. While the Lakers lost again and now have only minimal chances of reaching the playoffs, LeBron still was very emotional when passing Jordan.
He puts this achievement on the same level as winning a championship and praised MJ in his post-game interview, saying that he was an inspiration to him.
“For a kid from Akron, Ohio that needed inspiration, and needed some type of positive influence, MJ was that guy for me. I watched him from afar, wanted to be like MJ, wanted to shoot fadeaway like MJ, wanted to stick my tongue out on dunks like MJ, wanted to wear my sneakers like MJ.”
