Jaylen Brown’s Old Tweet About His Teacher Saying He’ll End Up In Jail Goes Viral Again
We all know Jaylen Brown’s tweet about his teacher claiming that he’d end up behind bars in five years. Now, in retrospect, the tweet is pretty awesome and definitely shows that you shouldn’t give a damn about what people think about you.
My teacher said she will look me up in the Cobb county jail in 5 years .. Wow

Yesterday, this tweet went viral again because yesterday marked the five year anniversary of the tweet. Only you do not have to go to Cobb county jail to visit Jaylen Brown, but you’d have to buy an expensive ticket to an NBA playoff game to do so instead.
What a great story. Brown played well and had 19 points in the Celtics’ win in Game 1. NBA Twitter obviously loved it as well.

I've been a public school educator for 47 years; any teacher who would say that to any kid deserves to have it thrown in their face. All my best to you Jaylen Brown.

Someone boo that woman! Trying to place a young black man in restrictions when he is trying to achieve a dream.
