Zion Williamson Was Quickly Whisked Out After Pelicans Got #1 Pick
Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett, Ja Morant, Jarrett Culver, De’Andre Hunter, Brandon Clarke – these are only a few of this year’s draft prospects. A class that could turn out to be one of the best in recent history.
After last night’s Draft Lottery, that had a lot of surprising outcomes, a lot of things might change for some teams – mostly for the Memphis Grizzlies and the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Pelicans got the number one draft pick and now have various options. They can try to convince Anthony Davis to stay and team up with Zion Williamson, or they accept a possible trade package from the Lakers including Ingram, the Lakers’ 4th pick and other assets.
As for Zion, who much likely will be the number one pick, he would have rather ended up in New York City… so it seems.
