Oklahoma City Thunder With The Most Insane Draft Pick Haul In NBA History
The Oklahoma City Thunder may have lost both of their All-Stars in Paul George and Russell Westbrook, but they collected the most impressive array in future first round picks, the league has ever seen.
While the Thunder did the right thing in trading George, before possibly facing similar problems New Orleans faced last season with Anthony Davis, the Westbrook trade mainly was a thank you to the man who was with the franchise since draft day.
If you take a look at OKC’s first round picks in the coming years, you see how many assets the franchise got in return for their stars. This are not only potential star players, but also a ton of value for future trades. At one point, the Thunder will trade for a star again, and these picks will come in handy to do so.
