Kemba Walker Praising New Teammates Jayson Tatum And Jaylen Brown
Earlier this summer, Kemba Walker agreed to sign a four-year, $141 million deal with the Boston Celtics,.
The deal was part of a sign-and-trade with the Charlotte Hornets, who added Terry Rozier on a three-year, $58 million deal.
While the new season is still a couple of months away, Walker had the chance to get to know some of his new teammates nonetheless. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown both are part of Team USA’s training camp in Las Vegas, as is Walker, who says it’s been special to watch Tatum and Brown up close.
Per NBC Sports:
“Those dudes are so talented, it’s unbelievable. I competed against those guys, what, four times a year? Might catch a few games here or there. End of the day, you don’t see them every day. You know what I mean? For me, to be here and see those guys, and the way they compete and how much passion and love they have for the game, the intensity they have for the game, that’s special to me.”
