Scott Van Pelt Admits He Was Wrong In Classy Take On LaMelo Ball
In only a couple of months, LaMelo Ball has changed the whole narrative around his persona. The youngest of the Ball brothers has gone from ‘barley a first round prospect’, to ‘potential number one draft pick’ in next years’ NBA draft projections. All that due to his great performances in Australia, where he so far has dazzled countless NBA scouts, and even critics.
One of them being Scott Van Pelt. Van Pelt, who is one of LaMelo’s dad, LaVar Ball’s biggest critics. SVP admitted he was wrong about LaMelo on his show last night. Van Pelt even explained how he felt small for being anti a teenager:
“Just seeing the kid, who’s looking more and more like a young man, made me look in the mirror and feel really small about how I felt about him.”
