Jimmy Butler Wanted It To Be Only About Him After Last Night’s Game
Jimmy Butler had himself a night against the Phoenix Suns last night, especially in the first half of the game.
Butler made 11-of-16 from the field and all 10 from the line for 34 points, while adding five rebounds, and four assists.
It first looked like his night could have ended up in historic spheres, but after scoring 30 points in the first half, he took his foot off the gas in the second half.
He nonetheless was the player of the game and wanted all of the attention afterwards.
During his post game interview, Butler sent Meyers Leonard and Bam Adebayo, who were trying to video bomb him, back to the locker room. When asked by the reporter why he sent them away Butler said:
“It’s not about them right now, it’s about me.”
