NBA Twitter Rips ESPN For Using Kobe’s Death As Reason For LeBron To Win MVP

Since LeBron James led his Los Angeles Lakers to impressive wins against the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers in the past week, he’s been getting some more MVP considerations by fans and media alike.

While it indeed is impressive what James is doing at age 35, every metric and statistic in terms of value for a team has Giannis Antetokounmpo as the clear front-runner for the award.

It is definitely okay to still think James is the MVP, especially when you look at his personal stats, and him leading the league in assists, but thinking LeBron should win the award because he has been dealing with the tragic death of Kobe Bryant is wrong. That’s why ESPN and, ‘The Jump’ especially got ripped by NBA Twitter.
