ESPN Re-Aired 2016 Finals Game 7 But Skipped Kyrie’s Winning Three, Leaving Fans Furious
In the 2016 NBA Finals, history was made when the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the reigning champions, the Golden State Warriors, in 7 games, after previously trailing three games to one. LeBron James was able to bring the long awaited first NBA Championship to Cleveland and the festivities ended up being completely crazy.
Game 7 also featured two all-time Finals moments. Kyrie Irving’s clutch go ahead three pointer and LeBron James’ block for the ages. But when ESPN re-broadcasted the epic Game 7 of the series last night, they obviously showed LeBron’s block, but skipped over Kyrie Irving’s go-ahead 3 pointer with commercials.
As you can imagine NBA fans weren’t pleased.
ESPN really just skipped over Kyrie Irving’s go-ahead 3 pointer with commercials while replaying the 2016 Game 7 in the Finals & people on Twitter are not happy pic.twitter.com/U6UAnE4Nbp
