Having a ‘bad game’ is a very subjective thing in the NBA. Some star players’ worst games might be a role players’ best. A bad game can be an overall bad performance, or sometimes even only one action. 

But when we approach the ‘bad game’ term from a statistic point of view, one game stands out – Utah Jazz’s backup point guard, Delaney Rudd, quite possibly had the worst performance in an NBA game in league history.

On November 2, 1990 in the Jazz’s season opener against the Phoenix Suns, Rudd went 0 for 4 from the field, had 0 points, 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals, 0 blocks, but 6 turnovers and 5 personal fouls, all while only playing 9 minutes…
