More Fuel For Anthony Davis To Chicago Bulls Rumors, As Davis Puts LA Home Up For Sale
When the Los Angeles Lakers traded for Anthony Davis in last year’s offseason, they were aware of the risk of Davis possibly leaving again in free agency after only one season.
This one season could now only have been half a season. With the NBA season in jeopardy due to the global coronavirus pandemic, no one really knows how and if playoffs will be played. If the season was ended without playing the postseason, Davis would be a free agent.
Shortly after Davis’ trade to Los Angeles, he minced no words when letting the world know how he feels about his hometown of Chicago:
“In Chicago, it means a lot more to us because we are a basketball city and we are the Mecca of Basketball and you can quote me on that.”
Davis later caused some more controversy when as asked about the possibility of coming to the Bulls in the future, at an event in Chicago this past November. The Lakers big man didn’t say much, but what he said surely raised the hopes of the Windy City faithfuls:
“I mean, I am a free agent next year … but we will see.”

With the Bulls finally opting for a fresh start, after relieving general manager Gar Forman of his duties and demoting former executive vice president of basketball operations John Paxson to senior advisor of basketball operations, the Anthony Davis rumors started going again.
These rumors now got even more fuel, as Anthony Davis put his Los Angeles home up for sale. According to the LA Times, the seven-time All-Star has listed his estate in the North Ranch area of Westlake Village for around $8 million.
