Stephon Marbury Thinks Kevin Durant & Kyrie Irving Duo Will Be Magical
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have been teammates ever since they both signed with the Brooklyn Nets last summer. Both players show a great affection for each other, which was one of the reasons for them to team up.
Unfortunately they haven’t been able to play together yet. The last time we saw Kevin Durant on NBA hardwood, was in Warriors colors, when he hobbled off the field with a torn achilles during the NBA Finals.
But thankfully, Durant has been ramping up the intensity in his current rehab progress and even is driving and dunking again. It looks like he’s definitely on schedule to return next season.
When asked about the two Brooklyn teammates on Scoop B Radio, former New York star Stephon Marbury revealed that he believes the pairing will be magical:
“I think those two on the court are going to be pretty magical. I think it going to put things in perspective as far as how good they really are and what their capabilities are because Kyrie Irving is a different monster. And Kevin Durant is a different monster. And them two together because they have good energy with each other and they’re on the same page they’re going to flow perfectly. So I think it’s gonna be good.”
