Dennis Rodman Said He Never Talked To Michael Jordan Or Scottie Pippen

ESPN Films and Netflix’s joint production ‘The Last Dance’, a 10-part documentary about Michael Jordan and the 1990s Chicago Bulls, caused the basketball world to not stop talking about Jordan, Pippen, Rodman and their teammates earlier this year.

But while everybody was talking about them, it turns out they didn’t talk to each other… ever, and had completely separate and different lives off the court.

In an interview with Graham Bensinger from 2011, Rodman revealed that he, Scottie Pippen, and Michael Jordan never had a conversation. Rodman said it wasn’t his job to talk to people, but to win:

“Well, I didn’t think it was important. I thought it was important… to win. My job wasn’t to speak to people. My job was to correlate and understand how people work and do one thing – make people believe to the fact that you belong there.”

“Me, Scottie and Michael never had a conversation in three years in Chicago. The only time we had a conversation was on the court. That was it! And nobody believes that…”
