Kenny Smith’s All-Time Top 10 List Is Ridiculous – LeBron James Is 10th, Kobe Bryant Not On It At All
We all know it is hard for former NBA players to admit that today’s players are just as great, if not greater, than they’ve been during their respective careers. This often leads to some controversial statements or ridiculous lists.
Even though he still is heavily involved in today’s NBA, Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith is no different.
Making an appearance on Complex Sports’ Load Management podcast, Smith shared his all-time Top 10, or at least parts of it.
While The Jet ranked LeBron James 10th, Kobe Bryant didn’t make the list. He tried to explain his reasoning by further discrediting today’s NBA:
“LeBron James is in my top 10, but he’s 10… Kobe’s not in my top 10.
It’s so much easier to score now, that it makes it hard to judge a guy’s ability. Because it’s so easy to score.”
"LeBron is in my top 10 (of all-time) BUT he's No. 10… Kobe is not in my top 10." @TheJetOnTNT isn't putting LeBron or Kobe anywhere near the top of the all-time list.
