James Harden Explains Why He Wore ‘Blue Lives Matter’ Mask
James Harden received a lot of backlash and criticism for wearing a ‘Blue Lives Matter’ mask around the NBA’s Orlando campus on late Wednesday.

The league’s leading scorer addressed the controversy in a Zoom call with reporters yesterday.
As expected, Harden wasn’t aware of the message he delivered, and revealed that the mask was not meant as a political statement. He wore the mask because it was one big enough to cover his entire beard:
“It was just something that covered my whole beard. I thought it looked cool. That was it.”
