The Comeback Of The Most Overlooked Defender In The NBA, Andre Roberson
Last night, after 909 long days, Oklahoma City Thunder winger, Andre Roberson gave his long awaited comeback.
A comeback that was in jeopardy for a long time, due to a knee injury that was so complicated that it almost forced Roberson to retire from the game of basketball.
After playing his first game since January 27, 2018, Roberson was full of various emotions, rightfully so:
“It was a lot of emotions, a lot of emotions. Anxious, happy, just overly ecstatic, just to get back out there on that floor, hear the coach call my name, being in the game… “

Once Roberson has shaken off his rust, you’ll likely see the entire Thunder’s game change, that’s how much of an impact he brings to the table. He completely takes opposing players out of games. Talk trash about his 3 pointers all day, but you won’t ever want to be defended by him.
It’s good to have you back, Andre.
