Scottie Pippen Makes Case For Miami To Beat Milwaukee And Win The Eastern Conference

The Miami Heat have one of the deepest rosters in the NBA; combined with terrific coaching from Erik Spoelstra, who has a proven track record already, the Heat are for sure one of the teams to reckon with in the upcoming NBA playoffs.

The Heat continue to leave the impression of a team poised to make a deep run in the playoffs, and even Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen has bought into the idea that this season is the season to win it all for the hard-nosed Miami team.

Per the Miami Herald:

“This is the season for them … Based on how teams are constructed in the East, Miami is constructed well enough to be able to compete [with Milwaukee].”

“They have guys on that team who have answers for Giannis [Antetokounmpo].”

The Miami Heat haven’t made the NBA Finals since LeBron James left the team in 2014. As a matter of fact, the second round of the playoffs was the farthest they’ve made since losing the now-Los Angeles Lakers superstar.

The Milwaukee Bucks are the best team in the NBA with a 53-12 record. As expected, the Giannis-led team will be considered as the favorites to come out of the East, ahead of the playoffs in Orlando, Florida.

With that in mind, the Heat aren’t messing around with anyone this season. The Bucks have fallen short against the Heat twice before the hiatus, and while the Bucks have a chance to steal one game in their final matchup next month, the series will still go in favor of Miami, nonetheless.

The fourth-seeded Miami Heat exhibit a great potential to be the team to upset the well-oiled Bucks team. However, the Heat will first have to worry about beating an also tough team, the Philadelphia 76ers, who are their most-likely first-round opponent in the playoffs.
