One Player Ordered A Full-Sized Freezer-Refrigerator Combo With Ice Maker To NBA Bubble
While most players have been in the NBA bubble for more than three weeks already, some will have to keep living in it for another three months.
Even though the NBA is trying their very best to make life within the bubble as pleasant as possible for the players, it most likely will get pretty tough to live inside an isolated area, without the possibility to go out, meet people, eat out, shop, or do whatever.
This is why some players prepared for the Bubble by bringing stuff to their hotel rooms.
In the most recent episode of ESPN’S ‘The Jump’, Rachel Nichols talked to Vernon Patterson. Patterson handles the NBA’s in-bubble shipping facility, and revealed some of the weirder stuff players brought along to Orlando.
Among the over 1000 packages that arrive at the shipping facility every day, Udonis Haslem had Amazon orders worth $5000 sent into the Bubble, while another player bought a full-sized freezer-refrigerator combo with an ice maker.
