New Orleans Pelicans Weren’t Even Able To Find Enough Fans To Fill Virtual Seats

Yesterday, the first NBA game in over 4 months was played between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Utah Jazz.

While there obviously aren’t any fans allowed in the arena, there are some exceptions. Fans can apply to become ‘virtual fans’ for games. These virtual fans are shown on a courtside Jumbotron, in the hopes to make the restart more realistic for fans and players alike.

While it indeed is a fun idea, the Pelicans weren’t even able to fill their virtual fan seats for last night’s game.
