Pau Gasol Has Maintained & Strengthened Close Relationship With Bryant Family After Tragic Death Of Kobe & Gianna
Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna were among the nine people on board the helicopter that crashed and left no survivors in Calabasas, California on Sunday, January 26, 2020.
As you can imagine, the Bryant family is still grieving their tragic death, and it is incredibly hard to be reminded of it on a daily basis. While the entire NBA world offered their condolences, one former teammate of Bryant has stuck out – Pau Gasol.
Gasol, with whom Kobe not only won back-to-back titles in 2009 and 2010, but who also became one of his best friends and favorite teammate of all time, has established a close relationship to Kobe’s wife Vanessa while becoming Uncle Pau to the Bryant girls.
Ever since the tragic death of Kobe and Gianna, Gasol has strengthened and maintained his bond with the Bryant family and has been the best friend one could ask for in such incredibly hard times.
