Kawhi Leonard’s Signature Sneaker Has Been Released Today & 76ers Fans Are Going To Hate It
At the beginning of last season, Kawhi Leonard was the league’s best player and biggest star without a shoe deal (his Jordan Brand deal had expired earlier that year), or signature shoe.
That’s why New Balance, in their quest to re-establish themselves in the basketball world, went all in and signed the then-Raptor to a deal.
During this years’ All-Star weekend in Chicago, New Balance unveiled the shoe, they simply dubbed “KAWHI,” but revealed that it won’t hit the stores until later this year.
It’s been a while since then, but Kawhi’s signature shoe is finally going to be available starting today.
Philadelphia 76ers fans are going to absolutely hate the shoe with its release colorway, that New Balance named ‘4 Bounces’ in reminiscence of Leonard’s buzzer beating game-winner in Game 7 of last year’s Eastern Conference semis.
