A Sidelined Russell Westbrook Got Into A Heated Argument With The Thunder
Last year, after 11 seasons, 8 All-Star appearances, 1 MVP title, 18,859 points, 6,897 assists and 5,760 rebounds, Russell Westbrook left Oklahoma City.
The Thunder traded Russell Westbrook to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Chris Paul, two first-round picks, and two pick swaps. Even though Harden and Westbrook had worked on a reunion ever since Paul George left the Thunder, Westbrook leaving his Thunder still hit almost everyone in the NBA landscape out of the blue.
And just how things like these often end up, the Rockets are currently playing the Thunder in the first round of the playoffs.
While Westbrook hasn’t played against his old team yet, due to a right quad strain, he still got involved in some action.
During a timeout, Westbrook made his way onto the court and shouted at his former Thunder teammates Steven Adams and Dennis Schröder. Westbrook even had to be separated by Rockets staff and officials in what was a personified “you’re either with us or against us” dispute.
