Patrick Beverley’s Disrespectful Comments To Michele Roberts Didn’t Happen According To Some Players
Within hours after teams boycotted their playoff games on Wednesday, it was described that there were a lot of disagreements, frustrations and uproar during the emotional meeting that took place on that same night. Apparently, one incident involved Clippers guard Patrick Beverley.
Earlier reports state that Patrick Beverley displayed a disrespectful attitude towards executive director of the National Basketball Players Association Michele Roberts, interrupting her and saying, “I pay your salary.” while Roberts was delivering her message.
However, NBA players such as Amir Coffey, Ivica Zubac and Vic Law who were part of the meeting went out to Twitter to dispute these reports, implying that Beverley didn’t say anything disrespectful to Roberts.
