Cavs Fans Are Furious After Cleveland Unveiled Jumpman Logo On New Jerseys

‘The Last Dance’ rekindled some of the greatest moments in history of the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan. Jordan’s iconic buzzer-beater in the 1989 Eastern Conference first round series between the Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers, for example.

‘The Shot’ though only was one of many examples of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls having the upper hand over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The two teams may have been huge rivals in the late 80s and early 90s, but it was a very one-sided rivalry. With a few exceptions, like Mark Price’s revenge game against Jordan, it was all Bulls, especially in the playoffs.

So when the Cavaliers unveiled their black Statement Edition jerseys the other day, fans were really pissed off and angry at their franchise for one little detail. The new jerseys won’t feature the Nike Swoosh logo, but the Michael Jordan Jumpman logo instead, which, given their rivalry with Jordan, caused fans to fume on Twitter, even though this was a general decision by the NBA, and not a decision made by the Cavaliers.
