Danuel House Not Only Was Thrown Out Of Bubble, But Also Has To Face His Wife’s Wrath
Remember when Stephen A. Smith ranted about players eventually ending up leaving the bubble, or breaking the Bubble code for ‘recreational activities’, before the restart?!
Smith said that the amount of sex, and women, many players are accustomed to, will lead to players not being able to honor a bubble for three months.
Well, while it seems to have lasted longer than Smith anticipated, he ended up being somewhat right after all.
Houston Rockets wingman, Danuel House, who was averaging 11.4 points and 5.8 rebounds in these playoffs, was officially thrown out of the NBA Bubble, following an NBA investigation that confirmed House allowing an ‘unapproved person’ into his room.
Per NBA.com:
“The NBA has concluded its investigation of a recent violation of campus health and safety protocols. The findings are that: (i) Houston Rockets forward Danuel House had a guest in his hotel room over multiple hours on September 8 who was not authorized to be on campus and (ii) no evidence was found that other players or staff had contact with the guest or were involved in this incident.”
While the NBA allows players to have their wives and girlfriends around, they do not allow ‘any casual acquaintance, such as those known by the player only through social media or an intermediary’. House sneaking in an Instagram model to his Bubble room, definitely violated the rules, leading to the NBA taking necessary action.
But losing the opportunity to continue playing in the NBA playoffs isn’t by far all of the trouble House is going to face.
House, who is a married with kids, has to face the full disappointment, anger and frustration of his wife, whom he allegedly cheated on. Swipe Sports found out that his wife Whitney deleted every photo she had of him or of them together off her Instagram page.
