Frank Vogel Revealed How The Lakers Honor Kobe Bryant Every Day

Even though Kobe Bryant tragically passed away in a helicopter crash on January 26, he still is omnipresent in the entire sports world and especially in Los Angeles, rightfully so.

On top of numerous murals and other memories all across town, Bryant’s jersey numbers 8 an 24 are hanging from the rafters of Staples Center in Los Angeles.

After Bryant’s death, the Los Angeles Lakers decided to dedicate this, and the following seasons to Kobe. Head coach Frank Vogel now revealed one specific way the team honors Bryant during every practice.

Per Harrison Faigen:

“Kobe is with us on our whole journey this year. We say ‘Mamba on three’ every day in practice, every time we’re together, and we’ll continue to try to represent what he stood for and honor his memory.”
