Kemba Walker Downplays Marcus Smart’s Locker Room Turmoil: “Nothing Happened”
It was previously made known that Marcus Smart struggled to grasp their dreadful loss against the Miami Heat on Thursday wherein the Boston Celtics blew a 17-point lead to go down 0-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The loss took a heavy toll on the Celtics’ defensive point guard, as Smart was reportedly heard screaming and cussing at his teammates after the game which caused a heated commotion inside the locker room.
However, Kemba Walker, who was Boston’s leading scorer in Game 2 with 23 points, recently came up and downplayed the incident, saying nothing happened at all.
Kemba Walker: “Nothing happened in the locker room. I don’t even know what you guys are talking about. We’ll be fine. We’ll be fine.”
