Mark Cuban Searched For Delonte West And Picked Him Up At A Dallas Gas Station
After Delonte West was spotted on the streets of Dallas again, holding a sign asking people for money, news broke that the NBA, his former coach Doc Rivers, and his former college teammate Jameer Nelson have already attempted to get in touch with him.
West obviously needs help in what isn’t solely a financial emergency, but also a mental health one.
Since actions speak louder than words, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban went actively looking for West, found him and picked him up at a Dallas gas station in an attempt to help his former player get his life back on track.
Cuban reportedly took West, who appears to be receptive to the idea of going to rehab, to a local hotel. According to TMZ, Cuban has offered to pay for his treatment.
West was drafted in the 2004 NBA Draft and played for the Celtics, Supersonics, Cavaliers, and the Mavericks.
