NBA Twitter Ripped LeBron James For Walking Off Court With 10 Seconds Left On The Clock
Game 3 wrote a vastly different story than Games 1 and 2. The Lakers struggled against a short-handed and injury plagued Heat squad, due to an all-time great performance by Jimmy Butler who finished with 40 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists.
LeBron James, who led the Lakers with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists was visibly frustrated with the result, the team’s performance and likely his own performance in the 4th quarter and could be seen leaving the court and heading straight to the locker room, before the game had ended.
James walking off the court before the final buzzer sounded not only caused a slight delay, but also NBA Twitter going after him. They did not hold back:

Floppin’ @KingJames walked off the court with time left on the clock – broken and defeated. He’ll never be Michael! 🐐

LeBron James walking off the court with 1 second left and making a teammate sub in to inbound the ball is the definition of LeBron. What a sore loser

LeBron James leaving the court before the game is over is definitely not a good look at all. While I love his transparency when answering questions, he certainly opens himself up to criticism when he does stuff like that.

That was disrespectful the way that LeBron walked off the court before the shot clock expired

Really LeBron and the Lakers? You walk off the court before the end of the game because you lost! You just disgraced Laker legacy. pic.twitter.com/ipElCAuy30
