NBA Twitter Had All The Jokes After Clippers President Lawrence Frank Was Named NBA’s Executive Of The Year
Almost every NBA award that has been given out this season was somewhat controversial.
Many people wanted LeBron James instead of Giannis Antetokounmpo as the league’s MVP, others would have preferred Anthony Davis as DPOY and Bam Adebayo as MIP.
But after the NBA announced that Clippers president Lawrence Frank is the executive of the year, with Rob Pelinka, who made the Anthony Davis trade, signed Dwight Howard, Avery Bradley, Danny Green, brought back Kentavious Caldwell-Pope when it was very unpopular at the time do so, made one of the biggest trade deadline moves by signing Markieff Morris only finishing in 7th place, NBA Twitter had all the jokes.

Lawrence Frank getting the EOY for a team that wasn’t even #1 all regular season and lost a 3-1 lead up 17 in a game 7 looks funny in the light

Rob Pelinka built a roster that’s on the verge of not losing more than 1 game in any playoff series on their path to winning a championship. Lawrence Frank built a roster that wasn’t good enough to get out of the 2nd round. These voters have a lot of explaining to do https://t.co/ShD1tJGDHQ

This is one of those awards they honestly should wait until the end of the postseason to vote on. Nothing against any of people receiving votes/Lawrence Frank for winning, but how can anyone judge the job done to assemble a team until you see the final results? https://t.co/xHVMWmCNUe
