Damian Lillard, Baron Davis And Other NBA Players Defend LeBron James For Passing The Last Shot On Game 5
Lots of rumblings are happening on social media regarding the last play on Game 5 of the 2020 NBA Finals where LeBron James collapsed the defense and passed it to a wide open Danny Green who eventually missed the potential go-ahead three-pointer.
Whether James was right or wrong for making that specific play has been up for debate. As usual, LeBron has been getting a lot of flak for settling for the pass instead of finishing the game with a heroic game-winner that fans are used to see with legends like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
However, a handful of current and former NBA players have came up on LeBron’s side, arguing that the Los Angeles Lakers superstar definitely made the right play.
No… he made the right play… but I woulda shot on both they ass 🤷🏽♂️😂😂😂 https://t.co/DlXw0UWShq

Lebron 100 percent made the correct play… now, everybody would rather see Bron shoot the game winner than pass it lol but fact of the matter is he made 4 guys collapse and he hit DG for a wide open 3

Lebron is a genius when it comes to this game. Stop playing with him.

Nobody's fault. Great pass, great shot, just missed. Don't let the miss take away from giving the Heat their props though!!
