LeBron James Says His 35-Year Old Self Would Dominate His 27-Year Old Version
Nobody can teach wisdom and experience, and that’s what LeBron James has accumulated through 17 years of playing in the league while having zero missed playoff games in his entire career. At age 35, LeBron has become the first player in NBA history to win NBA Finals MVP with three different franchises.
One could argue that LeBron is still operating at his prime, something he’s been doing for over a decade now. Granted that each version of him is special in their own ways, basketball pundits are still debating and wondering which version of him is the better version.
During an interview with SportsCenter’s Scott Van Pelt, LeBron had the chance to give his input about this topic after he was asked how his 35-year old self would fare against his more explosive 27-year old version.
“You don’t even know your game. You haven’t even scratched the surface. You have no idea what you are capable of. So I think if you line up 35-year old LeBron with 27-year old LeBron, he would dominate him. He would dominate himself from eight years ago.”
