Metta World Peace Smoked 10 Blunts To Celebrate Lakers’ 2020 Championship
This past Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers won the 17th title in franchise history, and the first one after a 10-year title draught.
When the Lakers had their hands on the Larry O’Brien Trophy the last time, Metta World Peace, then as Ron Artest, delivered a clutch 3-pointer in Game 7 to seal the championship.
But it seems like Metta was just as happy this year, even without playing himself. As you expect from him, World Peace didn’t celebrate the Championship in any ordinary way, but light up 10 blunts instead.
Per USA TODAY Sports:
“I was just home and sparked a blunt…
I was partying the whole day by myself with two or three close friends. We sparked — I don’t even know — maybe 10 blunts. We had a great time. I deserved it. The Lakers won. It was crazy. It felt like I won.
I try not to indulge like I used to when I could go out, but I had a really good time in the house.”
