Warriors Have Package To Do Bradley Beal Trade, Per Brian Windhorst
Bradley Beal has been playing for the Washington Wizards since the 2012-13 NBA season. Last year, the 26-year old shooting guard decided to sign a two-year, $72 million contract extension to continue his tenure with the team.
But even signing a contract extension hasn’t stopped Beal from appearing in numerous trade rumors. It seems that half the league is having or has had interest in Beal at some point this year, with the Heat, Pelicans, Suns, and Lakers being the latest rumored teams.
On a recent episode of the “Brian Widhorst & The Hoop Collective” podcast, Winhorst added another team into the mix and detailed a potential Golden State Warriors trade package for Beal:
“The trade there is pretty simple,” Windhorst said. “Andrew Wiggins is involved from a salary standpoint. And then it would be the No. 2 pick in this year’s draft, the (Minnesota) Timberwolves pick next year, and then I also included Minnesota’s second-round pick next year — which I anticipate to be a very good selection.”
Bringing in a star-caliber player like Bradley Beal would likely make the already contending Warriors the overwhelming favorites.
